Loctite SI5970 300 ml silicone sealant

LOCTITE SI 5970
It is specifically designed for sealing applications. It withstands low-pressure testing almost immediately, even before the product has begun to cure. Typical applications include covers made from pressed sheet steel (manifold covers and oil pans), where good oil resistance and the ability to withstand significant joint movement are required.
Properties:
- operating temperature -55°C to +200°C
- replacement for cork and paper gaskets on flanges and pressed sheet metal covers
- can be used on plastic and painted parts
- non-sticky after 25 minutes
- suitable for applications involving severe vibration or flexing of parts
