CUFFS, WIPERS RINGS, GUIDE STRIPS
Seals, omega rings, wiper rings and guide strips form a complete sealing system for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Each component has a specific function — the seal seals the pressurised medium, the wiper ring prevents the ingress of contaminants, and the guide strip ensures that the piston and rod remain coaxial. When servicing a cylinder, replace all components at the same time — mixing new and old parts significantly reduces service life.
What this category contains
- Seals and omega rings — dynamic seals for both the outer (piston) and inner (piston rod) diameters; PU for hydraulics, NBR for pneumatics
- Scraper rings — primary protection against the ingress of dust, contaminants and moisture into the cylinder
- Guide strips and rings — sliding piston/rod bearings made from synthetic fabric + polyester resin; eliminate metal-to-metal contact
- Compact seals (omega seals) — two-component design (PU profile + NBR O-ring) for high pressures and compact installation
- Folded sleeves (chevron) — textile-rubber packings for extreme pressures and wear in demanding applications
Types by application
Hydraulic (5–40 MPa, max. 60 MPa peak) — polyurethane, presses, jacks, construction and agricultural machinery. Pneumatic (up to 1 MPa) — NBR, valves, automation, packaging machinery. Mobile hydraulics — a combination of PU and NBR for resistance to vibrations and thermal shocks. Refurbishment of old cylinders — send us a photo or the original part number, and we’ll find a suitable replacement.
Materials
Standard stock includes PU (PUR 92 ShA) for hydraulics, NBR for pneumatics and low-pressure applications, FPM/Viton for temperatures of 100–200 °C, and PTFE for chemically aggressive media. For water-based hydraulics (HFA/HFB), special hydrolysis-resistant compounds.
