Dimensions and interchangeability

The designation 6004 is an international standard (ISO 15), so a 6004 bearing from any manufacturer always has the same dimensions of 20 × 42 × 12 mm and is mechanically interchangeable. They differ only in terms of seal design, clearance, precision and service life. When replacing a worn-out bearing, you can therefore choose a different brand from the one used in the original machine.
