Bearing 6203

The 6203 bearing is a single-row ball bearing measuring 17 × 40 × 12 mm (inner diameter 17 mm, outer diameter 40 mm, width 12 mm). We stock 24 variants, 14 of which are in stock and ready for dispatch within 24 hours. Prices start at 25 Kč and vary depending on the manufacturer and variant.

Dimensions and interchangeability

The designation 6203 is an international standard (ISO 15), so a 6203 bearing from any manufacturer always has the same dimensions of 17 × 40 × 12 mm and is mechanically interchangeable. The only differences lie in the seal design, clearance, precision and service life. When replacing a worn part, you can therefore choose a different brand to the one used in the original machine.

Variants we stock

  • 6203 2RS – double-sided rubber seal – for dusty and damp environments
  • 6203 2RSH – double-sided rubber seal (SKF designation)
  • 6203 LLU – double-sided rubber seal (NTN designation)
  • 6203 2Z – double-sided metal cover – lower friction, higher speeds
  • 6203 ZZ – double-sided sheet metal cover (NTN designation)
  • 6203 C3 – increased radial clearance – for higher temperatures and interference fits
  • 6203 NR – groove including supplied retaining ring

Without a suffix, this is an open bearing without a seal — the most economical option for clean and permanently lubricated mountings.

Manufacturers

For the 6203 designation, we offer the following brands: SKF, FAG, NTN, ZVL, IBB, IBU, KG and CN. ZVL or IBB are sufficient for standard operation; for demanding and high-speed applications, we recommend SKF, FAG or NTN.

How to choose

The dimensions are identical for all 6203 bearings, so the environment is the deciding factor: 2RS sealed bearings for dusty and damp conditions; 2Z open bearings for clean and high-speed applications; and C3 clearance for heating or press-fitting.
