SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS
Spherical roller bearings can transmit radial loads as well as high axial loads in both directions. They consist of two rows of barrel-shaped rollers and share a common spherical raceway in the outer ring. The bearings are self-aligning and can therefore compensate for shaft misalignment relative to the housing or for shaft deflection.
