Oil seal (Simmering) – a shaft seal used to seal a rotating shaft
and the surrounding space from gaseous or liquid media. The oil seal consists of
an elastomer part (NBR, FPM, SI,…), a metal reinforcement, and a tension spring
that ensures correct radial pressure of the sealing lip.
Oil seal dimensions are given by three parameters: shaft inner diameter,
outer diameter of the oil seal, and height of the oil seal.

AS-HP design – a pressure oil seal up to max. pressure 3 bar, consisting of
an elastic outer cover that compensates for thermal expansion
and surface roughness in the housing.
AS-HP type is used for sealing liquid and gaseous media
in applications with higher pressure load; AS-HP type
is equipped with an additional dust lip.
Material design of AS-HP sealing lip: NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber).
