SINGLE-ROW TAPERED ROLLER BEARINGS – METRIC
Single-row tapered roller bearings have a single row of tapered rollers. They are used in applications where combined radial and axial loads are transmitted. The bearings feature an optimised contact geometry of the guide-flange sliding surfaces, roller end faces, and raceway profile. Tapered roller bearings are manufactured in both metric and inch sizes.
Bearing dimension identification:
d: inner diameter (mm) of the bearing
D: outer diameter (mm) of the bearing
B: width (mm) of the bearing

Standard suffix codes:
J – Stamped steel cage, roller-guided. The digit following „J" indicates a different cage design.
P6 – Dimensional and running accuracy according to the older ISO precision class 6.
Q – Optimised contact geometry and surface quality.
TN9 – Injection-moulded cage from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide 6,6, roller-guided.
X – Main dimensions adapted to ISO
W – Change in width tolerance of the ring +0,05/0 mm
CL7A – High-performance design for pinion mounting (replaced by CL7C)
B – Larger contact angle than the standard design
