It is designed for securing and sealing tapered threads on metal pipes and fittings. The product cures without air access in the gap between the bonded metal surfaces and prevents loosening or leakage of the joint caused by vibrations and shocks. LOCTITE® 567™ delivers excellent curing results. It cures well not only on active metals (such as bronze and copper) but also on passive surfaces, such as stainless steel and coated metals. The product’s high lubricity prevents seizing of threaded pipes and fittings made of stainless steel, aluminium and other metallic materials. The product offers increased temperature resistance and greater tolerance to slightly greasy surfaces. This means it cures even on surfaces that are slightly contaminated with various oils, lubricants, cutting fluids, anti-corrosion agents and protective fluids. LOCTITE® 567™ is recommended for use in industrial applications in chemical manufacturing, refineries, pulp and paper production, waste management, the textile industry, shipbuilding, the automotive industry, industrial equipment manufacturing, compressed gas systems and industrial distribution systems. It is also recommended for industrial hydraulic systems.
