Bearing 6209

The 6209 bearing is a single-row ball bearing measuring 45 × 85 × 19 mm (inner diameter 45 mm, outer diameter 85 mm, width 19 mm). We stock 14 variants, 13 of which are in stock and ready for dispatch within 24 hours. Prices start at 99 Kč and vary according to the manufacturer and variant.

Dimensions and interchangeability

The designation 6209 is an international standard (ISO 15), so a 6209 bearing from any manufacturer always has the same dimensions of 45 × 85 × 19 mm and is mechanically interchangeable. They differ only in terms of seal design, clearance, precision and service life. When replacing a worn part, you can therefore choose a different brand to the one used in the original machine.

Variants we stock

  • 6209 2RS – double-sided rubber seals – for dusty and damp environments
  • 6209 2RS1 – double-sided rubber seal (SKF designation)
  • 6209 LLU – double-sided rubber seal (NTN designation)
  • 6209 2Z – double-sided metal shield – lower friction, higher speeds
  • 6209 ZZ – double-sided sheet metal cover (NTN designation)
  • 6209 C3 – increased radial clearance – for higher temperatures and interference fits
  • 6209 N – groove for retaining ring on the outer ring

Without a suffix, this is an open bearing without seals — the most economical option for clean and permanently lubricated mountings.

Manufacturers

For the 6209 designation, we offer SKF, NTN, ZVL and IBB brands. ZVL or IBB are sufficient for standard operation; for demanding and high-speed applications, we recommend SKF or NTN.

How to choose

The dimensions are identical for all 6209 bearings, so the choice depends on the operating environment: the 2RS with seals for dusty and damp conditions, the 2Z with covers for clean and high-speed applications, and the C3 tolerance for heating or press-fitting with an interference fit.
