Loctite AA3311 25 ml UV adhesive – medical use

Loctite AA 3311
This acrylic adhesive is specifically designed for bonding rigid and flexible PVC to polycarbonate; thanks to its properties, it does not cause stress cracking at normal compression pressures. The adhesive can also be used to bond polycarbonate to flexible PVC tubing. It is applied to gaps of less than 0.25 mm. It also offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including glass, many plastics and most metals. Loctite AA 3311 is suitable for bonding single-use medical devices.
It cures when exposed to ultraviolet radiation or visible light of sufficient intensity. The curing rate depends on the intensity of the UV source, the distance from the source, the required cure depth or joint size, and the transmission of UV light through the material through which the light must pass.
It is not recommended for use in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems and should not be used to seal chlorine or other strongly oxidising materials.
WARNING: The product is light-sensitive and should therefore be exposed to as little daylight, artificial light and UV radiation as possible during storage and handling. The surfaces to be bonded should be clean and degreased before application.
