TEROSON RB VII
A multi-purpose, permanently plastic, solvent-free sealing compound based on synthetic rubber. It provides excellent protection against moisture and corrosion and can be painted over with standard commercial paints based on oil or synthetic resins. The material exhibits excellent resistance to water and ageing. Thanks to its tackiness, it adheres very well to most materials, provided the surfaces are dry and clean. The product is compatible with a wide range of substrates. Due to its properties, TEROSON RB VII is used as an internal sealant for overlapping materials. The parts to be sealed must be fixed together mechanically, for example using clamps, screws, rivets or similar methods. TEROSON RB VII allows sealed joints to be reopened, e.g. for servicing, repair or recycling.

TEROSON RB VII is used as a sealant in the following areas:
- in the manufacture of sheet metal assemblies, for example for sealing overlapping steel sheets and other structural elements made of steel, aluminium, glass or plastics
- as protection against contact corrosion between steel and non-ferrous metals
- in the manufacture of cars, caravans and railway carriages for sealing metal, wooden and plastic parts
- in the manufacture of electrical equipment for sealing and filling components subject to low levels of vibration
