BEARING HOUSINGS
Bearing units are classified as either flanged or non-flanged. Single-row ‘Y’ type ball bearings are fitted into the housings. The housings and bearings form bearing units which are used primarily in agriculture and engineering, as well as in transport systems and other industrial sectors (packaging technology, ventilation systems). Housings are most commonly supplied in cast iron or sheet metal, but plastic housings are also available.
