Viton (FPM) rubber is resistant to aggressive media and high temperatures. The rubber offers excellent resistance to both diluted and concentrated acids, alkalis, and synthetic and mineral oils. Excellent resistance to aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, as well as to aviation fuels; it is also impermeable to gases. Exceptional resistance to climatic influences, high temperatures and ozone.
