LOCTITE SI 5926

Flat gasket – multi-purpose flexible silicone sealant. Ideal for use on flexible flanges, machined or cast surfaces, whether metal or plastic.
LOCTITE SI 5926 is a universal flexible silicone sealant. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a rigid rubber face seal.
This product resists ageing, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking.
It is primarily used on valve covers, valve train covers, differential covers, oil pans, gearbox sump pans, water pumps and thermostat covers.
This product is typically used in applications with operating temperatures between -54 °C and 204 °C.
