V-belts are the most commonly used component in mechanical transmission systems for transferring rotary motion, and thus mechanical energy, from one shaft to another. Their applications range from small domestic appliances, through compressors, blowers and production lines, to the drives of units in motor vehicles, machinery and agriculture, etc.
Modern belt manufacturing technology is replacing existing conventional coated V-belts. Use the AX-type belt as a replacement for your existing coated V-belt. It is designed for new externally loaded drives. It is manufactured using modern technology involving cutting and grinding of the sides and fully replaces coated belts.

La Outer length (circumference).
Li Inner length (circumference).
Lw=Lp=Ld Calculated length. Measured around the circumference of the neutral fibres, which retain the same length when the belt is bent (approximately at 2/3 of the belt’s height).
b = 13 mm Width of the outer base of the belt.
h = 8 mm Belt height.
bw = 11 mm Calculated width. The width of the belt at the neutral fibres.
α 36° Angle formed by the sides of the belt, measured on a straight section whilst the belt is under tension.
