V-belts are the most commonly used component in mechanical transmission systems for transferring rotational motion – and thus mechanical energy – from one shaft to another. Their applications range from small domestic appliances, through compressors, blowers and production lines, to the drives of power units in motor vehicles, machinery, agriculture, etc.
The basic range of coated V-belts is complemented by a narrow profile (SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC), which is based on and replaces the classic cross-sections Z/10, A/13, B/17 and C/22. Compared to the classic profile, the narrow profile transmits up to 100% more power.

bw = 11 mm Calculated width. The width of the belt at the neutral fibres.
α = 40° The angle formed by the sides of the belt, measured on a straight section whilst the belt is under tension.
