Loctite SF7701 50 g primer

LOCTITE SF 7701
is designed for preparing polyolefins and other low-energy surfaces for bonding with Loctite cyanoacrylate adhesives. On surfaces treated in this way, the curing results for LOCTITE cyanoacrylate adhesives are generally similar to those described in the technical data sheets for the relevant adhesives. It is recommended only for difficult-to-bond substrates, which include polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber materials. It is not recommended for use in assemblies where high peel strength is required. LOCTITE SF 7701 is suitable for use in the assembly of single-use medical devices.
ISO 10993
LOCTITE SF 7701 has been tested in accordance with the Henkel protocol based on the ISO 10993 standard, which is regarded as a guideline for the selection of products intended for use in the manufacture of medical devices.

Effect on the curing properties of cyanoacrylate adhesives Products 406, 496 and 460 are based on ethyl, methyl and ß-methoxyethyl esters, in that order. Other LOCTITE liquid products based on these esters will behave similarly to the examples given. LOCTITE SF 7701 is not recommended for use with gel products.
