LOCTITE SI 5616
A two-component, fast-curing silicone with excellent adhesion to glass, metals and Ceran glass-ceramic. LOCTITE SI 5616 offers excellent heat resistance up to 180 °C and can withstand even higher temperatures for short periods. Typical applications include bonding and sealing glass-ceramic hob assemblies, replacing welding and riveting operations in high-temperature assemblies, and other industrial applications requiring high-temperature bonding. LOCTITE SI 5616 is carbon-free and can therefore be used in particular for bonding and sealing components in electrical equipment.
